Mr Trushar Patel is a very pleasant person, easy to talk to, it was just a shame he was running late as he had , had to go to theatre earlier in the day, which made his appointments late, but in all the experience was pleasant with no complaints.I have been a patient at the Nuffield before & found all Doctors & Nurses pleasant & caring as Mr Patel was.

Mr Patel explained in detail the Cataract procedure in terms that I could understand and all my questions were answered with interest and patience. I felt confident when it came to the operation and I was cared for by a great team who clearly respected Mr Patel. The second cataract operation was equally well explained even though I had the experience one eye already fully ‘functional’. It may sound strange but it was a real pleasure to have been treated by such a kind, caring and professional Consultant and to come away with 100% distance vision even at 92 years young!!! Thank you sincerely.

I only have sight in one eye so I put off my operation for a long time as I was worried about something going wrong and being left completely blind. I was referred to Mr Patel and I was immediately put at ease by his confidence in doing the operation successfully. I agreed to have the operation and there were no problems. I was very surprised at how well it went and the sight I have now. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Patel.
